Cafe Akhil Hayy – Series (2008)
Akhil Hayy Rawa atau nama sebenarnya Akhil Abdul Hayy adalah seorang pendakwah bebas dan penyanyi di Malaysia. Beliau berketurunan Rawa dan dilahirkan di Gopeng, Negeri Perak. Sebagai seorang pendakwah, beliau lebih dikenali sebagai Ustaz Akhil. Semasa zaman remaja, Ustaz Akhil merupakan salah seorang anggota kumpulan rock di Malaysia. Kumpulan tersebut diberi nama D’Riyadh. Namun begitu, takdir Ilahi menentukan Ustaz Akhil akhirnya meninggalkan kehidupan sebagai seorang pemuzik rock. Kini, beliau lebih dikenali dengan lagu-lagu nasyid dan ceramah agama yang disampaikan di seluruh negara. Ustaz Akhil turut diberi gelaran “Ustaz Rock” kerana penglibatan beliau dalam arena muzik rock suatu ketika dahulu.
Ustaz Akhil sudah mendirikan rumah tangga dengan seorang wanita bernama Puan Maizawati Zainal. Perkahwinan mereka diserikan dengan kehadiran beberapa orang cahaya mata. Selain daripada aktif memberikan ceramah agama di seluruh Malaysia, Ustaz Akhil juga telah mempunyai beberapa buah album Nasyid. Antara album Ustaz Akhil adalah:

Today at 1800hrs, Astro Ria will air another new show. This one’s also a game show and its called “Bolos”. I saw the ad (not teaser) about the show last night. It showed snippets of the actual game show and I can’t help but think that I’ve seen it all before.
Did a quick search in YouTube and what do you know, I was right.
The new game show that will be airing today at 1800hrs in Astro Ria is exactly the same as a very popular game show in Japan. The show is called “Tunnels no Minasan no Okage Deshit” in Japanese. I don’t know what it means in English though everybody is comfortable to just refer to it simply as “Human Tetris“.<aminashaari>

Jangan Lupa Lirik – Series (2008)
KUALA LUMPUR, 23 MEI 2008: Program terbaru Astro Ria, Jangan Lupa Lirik yang akan disiarkan bermula Ahad ini, 25 Mei, diyakini bakal menambat hati penonton, bukan sahaja kerana hos popularnya, Aznil Haji Nawawi, tetapi juga hadiah paling lumayan yang ditawarkan.
Walaupun gameshow tersebut diadaptasikan daripada program Don’t Forget The Lyrics yang dicipta di Amerika Syarikat, Astro sudah tentu lebih bijak mengadaptasikan bentuk program itu bagi memenuhi citrasa tempatan. Lihat saja Akademi Fantasia yang diadaptasikan daripada program import, La Academia.
Dalam program ini, peserta berpeluang memenanngi hadiah RM1 juta tetapi dengan syarat, mesti menyanyikan lagu dengan lirik yang tepat. Jangan Lupa Lirik akan disiarkan di Astro Ria pada setiap Sabtu dan Ahad, jam 9 malam
Aznil ketika ditemui murai.com.my berkata, Jangan Lupa Lirik adalah program yang menyeronokkan kerana ia tidak mempunyai pengkritik dan peserta boleh menyanyi sesuka hati.
“Kadang-kadang program ini perlu lucu dan serius. Saya bertanggungjawab untuk berusaha membawa kedua-dua elemen ini supaya Jangan Lupa Lirik akan menjadi sebuah gameshow yang mampu menambat hati penonton.
“Bukan saja peserta berpeluang untuk membawa pulang wang sebanyak mungkin, tetapi berpeluang menjadi seorang bintang,” kata Aznil sebelum rakaman episod pertama di Bandar Sri Damansara, semalam.<Murai>

Pak Pandir Moden – Series (2008)
PAK Pandir. The name is familiar to those who grew up learning Malay folklore as part of their studies in school. But today’s younger generation hardly know much about this famous character.
With that in mind Suhan Movies and Trading Sdn Bhd, together with TV9 have created a drama series loosely based on the Pak Pandir character.
If the preview of the pilot episode is anything to go by, Pak Pandir Moden (Modern Pak Pandir) looks promising with abundant humour in the bargain.
