Movie review (jdmasia):
To start, the movie is unashamedly a tribute of sorts to FATF: Tokyo Drift, and it’s not just my opinion, even the director of the movie has been quoted as saying that himself. It was a wholly-locally produced event with a budget of RM2,000,000 (about $630,000 USD), which is quite high-end for a local production.
I’ve got to say, as far as a lot of the driving scenes are concerned, I do respect them for what they did in this movie simply because there was not one bit of CG trickery like a lot of the scenes in Tokyo Drift. Although I doubt they’ll win any stunt-driving awards, they definitely deserve credit for that. Two scenes in the movie were a blatant ripoff of the scene in Tokyo Drift where Han circles the R33 with the two females inside, so it was a bit disappointing when it comes to originality. <jdmasia>
Synopsis:
The movie tells the story of Zack and Sham, close friends who share a passion for drift racing. Though the sport is popular with men, Zack’s girlfriend (played by Fasha Sandha) took up the sport and became competitive in it. Zack is an elite racer who runs a workshop while Sham is more down to earth and always has problems with his racing car. Zack is unhappy with drug pushers selling on his racing patch, but Fasha (who is a former user) is friendly with some of them which leads to a confrontation between her and Zack. The pushers are sent to their boss Joe (played by Aaron Aziz) ,also a drift racer who uses race meets to sell his product.
A rift continues to grow between Zack and Fasha. Sham (played by Farid Kamil) becomes a middleman between the two but ends up also having feelings for her. Zack wins a challenge against Joe but falls out with Sham despite the latter’s numerous apologies and attempts to distance himself from Fasha. Zack and Fasha also confront each other but solve nothing, with Fasha conflicted over her dwindling feelings for Zack and her growing attraction to Sham. <Wiki>

Synopsis:
In this sequel, Hakimi is engaged to the lovely Princess Megawati, and is appointed as CEO of her company, Megapuri Berhad. Synopsis
In 1950, in South Korea, the shoe-shiner Jin-tae Lee and his eighteen years old student brother Jin-seok Lee form a poor but happy family with their mother, Jin-tae’s fiancé Young-shin Kim and her young sisters. The story revolves around two cops, R and Noma, who hunt down renegade cyborgs. Just Follow Law (simplified Chinese: 我在政府部门的日子) is a Singapore-produced comedy film starring Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh. This film began shooting in high-definition video format in February and March 2006 and was released in Singapore on 15 February 2007. [1]
Directed by Jack Neo, the film takes a satirical look at the inflexibility of outdated governmental rules and regulations and the rigid mindsets of local civil servants who follow rules to a fault, charming and delighting audiences with its humorous and perceptive insights. The title is a pun on the Singlish phrase ‘just follow lor’, which means to comply with orders without questioning why.

Keke, Gwen and Olin are close friends who started their friendship since high school. Together, as they reached university, the three girls lived in the house of Olin’s parent. The three of them had chosen different subjects. But, most importantly is that after uni, it is part of their routine to hang out in a pizza café, rent home videos and watched movies together at home. One night, as they were watching the romantic scene in “Titanic”, their hearts got touched. They realized that all these days, they have been missing and neglecting something that is very important and that is LOVE. The only male that seems to enjoy their company is Bono, their neighbour. The next day, they were being called “the lesbians” by their enemy gang lead by an envious high-profile girl named Barbara whose boobs are enlarged by the process of silicon injection. Because of this, the girls thought that they have enough, therefore they tried out a few ideas to get a lover. Instead of finding love, certain things became wrecked including their friendship which leads them to conduct a betting. The bet is for them to find love in 30 days. The winner will be served by the loser, while the loser will be the eternal servant of the winner.

Harmful Insect (害虫, Gaichu) is a 2001 Japanese film written by Kiyono Yayoi and directed by Akihiko Shiota. It follows a girl named Sachiko after her father dies, her mother attempts suicide, and her entire class is gossiping about her possibly having an affair with her sixth grade teacher who recently moved away. Because of all this, Sachiko stops going to school and hangs out with a street-dweller named Takao and his mentally disabled friend. When Takao is beaten to death Sachiko is forced to return to her former life, only to face more unwanted trauma at the hands of adults who never seem to have her best interests in mind.<eiga.wiki>
The Japanese film Harmful Insect proves that teenage alienation is not a problem that’s restricted to just the United States. We also learn that Japanese filmmakers, much like their American counterparts, can produce very mediocre movies about this issue. While I will definitely concede that director Akihiko Shiota has made a well-intended, thoughtful film, Harmful Insect is mainly stalled by its inability to become more than the sum of its parts. The movie’s only purpose appears to be to capture a very glum atmosphere, but it seems uninterested in exploring its characters with a greater amount of depth. Combine this narrow approach with a tortoise like pace and Harmful Insect, ultimately, becomes a chore to sit through<CinemaSpeak>

In my opinion this is the finest Malaysian comedy of the post-P Ramlee era. Director Hafsham created a satirical yet affectionate and unpretentious look at the habits of KL people, with some of the most charismatic actors of its time. Definitely worth watching if you want a light-hearted, multi-racial look at how Malaysia was like in the 80s.<Review – IMDB>
