Today at 1800hrs, Astro Ria will air another new show. This one’s also a game show and its called “Bolos”. I saw the ad (not teaser) about the show last night. It showed snippets of the actual game show and I can’t help but think that I’ve seen it all before.
Did a quick search in YouTube and what do you know, I was right.
The new game show that will be airing today at 1800hrs in Astro Ria is exactly the same as a very popular game show in Japan. The show is called “Tunnels no Minasan no Okage Deshit” in Japanese. I don’t know what it means in English though everybody is comfortable to just refer to it simply as “Human Tetris“.<aminashaari>

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 MEI 2008: Program terbaru Astro Ria, Jangan Lupa Lirik yang akan disiarkan bermula Ahad ini, 25 Mei, diyakini bakal menambat hati penonton, bukan sahaja kerana hos popularnya, Aznil Haji Nawawi, tetapi juga hadiah paling lumayan yang ditawarkan.
Walaupun gameshow tersebut diadaptasikan daripada program Don’t Forget The Lyrics yang dicipta di Amerika Syarikat, Astro sudah tentu lebih bijak mengadaptasikan bentuk program itu bagi memenuhi citrasa tempatan. Lihat saja Akademi Fantasia yang diadaptasikan daripada program import, La Academia.
Dalam program ini, peserta berpeluang memenanngi hadiah RM1 juta tetapi dengan syarat, mesti menyanyikan lagu dengan lirik yang tepat. Jangan Lupa Lirik akan disiarkan di Astro Ria pada setiap Sabtu dan Ahad, jam 9 malam

Wong Jing raids Hong Kong Cinema again for The Lady Iron Chef, a cooking-themed wackfest that manages to amuse when it’s not ripping off other movies. Synopsis:
In this sequel, Hakimi is engaged to the lovely Princess Megawati, and is appointed as CEO of her company, Megapuri Berhad. Just Follow Law (simplified Chinese: 我在政府部门的日子) is a Singapore-produced comedy film starring Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh. This film began shooting in high-definition video format in February and March 2006 and was released in Singapore on 15 February 2007. [1]
Directed by Jack Neo, the film takes a satirical look at the inflexibility of outdated governmental rules and regulations and the rigid mindsets of local civil servants who follow rules to a fault, charming and delighting audiences with its humorous and perceptive insights. The title is a pun on the Singlish phrase ‘just follow lor’, which means to comply with orders without questioning why.
